ABOUT WEARGHANA
WEAR Ghana was co-founded by friends and fellow students Awura Abena Agyeman (left) and Angorkor Nai-Kwade (right). Passionate about fashion and freedom, the two dreamed of using it to help develop their community and inspire pride in Ghanaian products. While everyone else was buying run-of-the-mill, overpriced boutique looks, the two young women created a style that represented the new Africa.
In 2013 they left their banking and telecom jobs to focus on that dream... and WEAR Ghana was born.
Throughout their long partnership, Awura Abena and Angorkor have continually complemented and pushed each other, resulting in covetable pieces made from beautiful fabrics, memorable prints and bold colours.
